Program Description
The Commercial Drivers License - Class A (CDL) program prepares students with the skills and knowledge they need to join the professional driving industry. This course fulfills Entry Level Driver Training requirements for CDL training in accordance with Part 380 of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations.
Upon program completion, students will be able to:
• Demonstrate basic truck operating procedures.
• Demonstrate safe operating procedures.
• Learn and practice advanced operating procedures.
• Practice vehicle inspections (pre/post-trip).
• Review non-driving activities.
