Because MTECH programs include significant hands-on and skills-based training, regular attendance is essential to student success. The college-wide minimum attendance standard is 85%. However, some programs may require a higher attendance standard due to industry licensure or certification requirements.
Failure to meet program attendance requirements may result in a student being unable to complete required competencies, participate in clinical or lab experiences, qualify for certification or licensure examinations, or meet industry employment standards.
Program-specific attendance requirements will be communicated by instructors and outlined in program syllabi.
